Note that our Images form part of the item/s description. Although all effort is made to refurbish our furniture to best represent its original state, it must be noted that the majority of the items we source date between the 1950s to late 1970s. For this reason and although restored, signs of their vintage condition & age might still be visible. Most of our pieces are for this reason sold under the term Voetstoots. Items for sale are available for viewing before purchase.
We follow the regulations of the CPA & ECTA, however, we do not cater to returns that form part of the "general right of return" or that do not fall within the reasons for return as set out in the CPA & ECTA policies. General right of return of “second-hand goods” is not catered for. Returns/refunds due to associated shipping logistics and costs are not catered for.
We do not offer store credit
We do not offer “lay-buy’s”
To initiate the process of a return, you can contact us at sales@oldunnu.co.za. Should the return be accepted, the refund payment will be processed via the payment gateway utilized for the order. Alternatively, an EFT payment will be made into your account of choice should the refund not be processed via our preferred payment gateway suppliers.
Your refund will attract a fee of 5% of the order amount. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Any shipping costs associated with the return of the goods are for the buyer's account unless otherwise agreed with Re-Trend.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
ALL ITEMS BOUGHT MUST BE COLLECTED / DELIVERED WITHIN THREE DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE (UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED BETWEEN PARTIES)
If no communication is received and no agreement on storage is reached between both parties and goods are not collected within 2 weeks, the goods will be re-listed for sale, and should a refund be due (after the successful sale) a deduction of 45% on the re-listed selling price (and the initial 5% above) will apply to comply with admin fees, packaging fees, bank fees, VAT implications, online fees, and storage space.
